Better products with ECODESIGN+

In the recent ORF TV documentary “Alles Müll – kein Mist!”, about the growing generation of wastes and the loss of valuable resources, products play a significant role. Dr. Wolfgang Wimmer from the ECODESIGN company explains the importance of understanding the environmental impacts of products along their entire life cycle. Dr. Wimmer presents the ECODESIGN+, a software tool to assess the environmental performance of products right from the development process. Such environmental assessments have been completed for companies like Philips, also presented in the documentary, for their dictation devices.
